CyanogenMOD 7.2 Stable Builds Now Available for a Grip of Devices

It’s been a busy past week for the CyanogenMOD camp. With the recent code freeze placed on the CM9 development branch and several new devices added to the nightlies roster, it almost seemed as though the CM7.2 project had been placed on the back burner, at least for the time being. Fortunately, that wasn’t even close to the case and we’re glad to announce a major (and likely the last) milestone for the Gingerbread division of the highly-popular custom ROM series.

That’s right, boys and girls. Stable builds of CyanogenMOD 7.2 are now available for a ton of devices. In fact, there’s so many on the list, I’m too lazy to count them all. I’ll leave that to you. Unfortunately, I can tell you now, there’s no sign of my HTC Amaze 4G (aka Ruby). Not that I’d be willing to revert back to Gingerbread at this point, but it would still be nice to finally see the CM brand associated with my phone — even if I am getting the Galaxy S III next week. Ah, well.
Head on over to the official CM download page to check the full list of supported devices. Odds are, you’ll be pleased to find a build already there waiting for you.
