Written by: Tony Simons on October 31, 2012. ASUS finally spilled the beans about its Nexus 7 sales stats yesterday and honestly, I’m not surprised a bit by the number they revealed. According to Asustek executives, who were on-hand for the company’s third-quarter earnings conference on Tuesday, the N7 is seeing very close to 1 million units sold per month now — a number that is growing at a very nice pace too, I must add. “At the beginning, it was, for instance, 500K units a month, then maybe 600, 700K. This latest month, it was close to 1 million.” – Asustek Chief Financial Officer David Chang The estimated grand total of units sold sits at about 2.8 million , according to Android Police, with the assumption that Chang was referring to each month’s sales since the Nexus 7 debuted, back in July. We have no reason to doubt their math, so we’ll say that it’s sitting at just under 3 million, in just shy of 4 months. Not bad at all. Unfortunately, this number doesn’t even shake a stick...
