Last week, we told you about a device called the Motorola Dinara which, at the time, was believed to be the Atrix 3. Now, it looks like we can cast away any lingering doubts we may have had, as our speculations have now been confirmed. It looks like Google’s recently-acquired Motorola intends to launch its new flagship phone on AT&T in the coming weeks. Strange to hear of a non-Verizon high-spec’d device these days, isn’t it?

While, we don’t have any official word on a release date just yet, it does appear that the phone has made its stop through the FCC and has gained approval under the model number of MB886. Typically, it isn’t long after a phone gets the green light from the FCC before it is launched, so we’re hoping that will also be the case here.

The Atrix 3 will be feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, a high-resolution 720p display and will be rocking the latest flavor of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich. We’re not expecting to see a pure AOSP experience on the device, even though Moto is now property of Google. The Atrix 3 will most likely come painted over with Motoblur, unless the search engine giant decides to throw us an unforeseen curveball.

We’ll be sure to let you know a price and launch date as soon as AT&T makes that information available to us.
